Level Programmes
C2IL@Farrer Park Level 1 Programmes
We kicked off the commemoration with an assembly programme presented by our students and teacher. Staff and students alike shared practices that they adopt to save water. The objectives of the school-wide activities were to help students recognize that water is a precious resource and that it is important to take proactive steps to tackle the global water crisis for water sustainability. This aligns with the Energy Reset pillar of the Singapore Green Plan 2030.
Primary 3 Mushroom Growing
Primary 3 students experienced how to grow mushrooms using a mushroom starter kit. They learnt the environmentally friendly way to produce our own food that aligns with building a Resilient Future pillar of the Singapore Green Plan 2030.
C2IL@Farrer Park Level 2 Programmes
Environmental Science Club
The interest-based programme is designed to enable students to learn about current issues affecting the environment such as global warming and climate change and practical actions they can take to contribute to sustainability efforts. Students then apply design thinking skills to implement solutions to advocate and encourage green habits in the school. Through reusing and recycling waste materials into useful items and regular reflection of their experiences, the students develop a more positive attitude towards sustainability. Their social and emotional competencies are also enhanced as they put into practice the school’s GRAIN values.
